Our Great Taste Awards
This August we were over the moon to receive two Great Taste Awards. Our Butterworks Spreadable butter with Hillfarm’s extra virgin cold pressed rapeseed oil and our Softer Butter both won 1-star awards!
The Great Taste is the world’s largest and most trusted food and drink awards. It puts food and drink products to the test with panels of over 500 experts. They are highly respected seals of approval and it is also a way to get honest, straightforward and impartial feedback from chefs, buyers, food writers and retailers.
We have worked extremely hard to produce a natural spreadable butter with amazing health benefits and a delicious taste. As well as a deliciously creamy naturally softer butter which can be used straight from the fridge.. and it has been recognized by one of the largest and trusted food and drink awards!
We received some great comments from the judges about our Softer butter, including: ‘’a generous portion size and a commendable spreading texture. Creamy, rich, pleasing with careful blending and seasoning. A clean finish on the palate. The judges felt that this was a very well made and produced product. Simple and delicious!’’
Our Hillfarm Spreadable butter also received some great comments, including: ‘’The butter had an attractive yellowy colour and was soft and spreadable. On tasting the judges really enjoyed the nutty flavour of the rapeseed and could imagine using the butter on a variety of ways. A great product.’’
And ‘’This is a vivid golden butter with a soft texture. The salt level is well judged and there are buttery notes as well as a pleasingly creamy mouthfeel. The most pronounced flavour is, as you suggest, the nuttiness of the rapeseed. We liked this and the finish is clean and well balanced.’’
