Swede and carrot mash

Prep time - 5 minutes
Cook time - 20 minutes

Difficulty - Easy


1 swede

1 butternut squash

6 carrots

2 cloves of garlic

2 tbsp butter

1 tbsp sour cream

Salt and pepper


Chop up all the vegetables and put them in a pan of water

Add a dash of salt and bring to the boil

Boil vegetables until soft

Drain water and leave in the pan

Add 2 tbsp of butter, 1 tbsp of sour cream and 2 cloves of chopped up garlic

Mash all ingredients up (use a hand blender to make it smooth)

Add salt and pepper to taste
